Market Conditions - June 10, 2021

Supply chain challenges are still just that – challenging! We are seeing blenders come in from Blendtec sporadically and they are going out as soon as they get here. The computer chips required to run these blenders are imported and in short supply.

We are working diligently to try to keep inventory levels up, but that has continued to be a challenge. Packaging materials are still in short supply, as well as some ingredients, which has made it difficult to get production levels on proteins up. Dr. Smoothie is experiencing packaging issues as well as cost increases on raw materials. There has been a price increase announced and we will be seeing some alternate packaging for the foreseeable future.

We were short on our swiig brand of Dried Fruits and Veggies previously, but we seem to have the pipeline secure through the fall at this time. The challenge there is getting the labor to actually package, so we are still experiencing some delays in lead times.
